The CST Theodolite Diagonal Eyepiece the perfect accessory for obstructed lines between the unit and the target. While using the CST/berger DGT10, CST/berger BDT30, David White DWT-10(46-8890), and David White DWT-30(46-8895) theodolites, this little tool allows you to take accurate measurements even when large obstacles (like buildings) are in the way. The theodolite eyepiece is small (3.75″ long) and lightweight. It’s easy to carry and transport with the soft case’s belt and wrist loops. The solar filter serves to prevent the glare of the sun when it’s very bright outside, or when the sun is needed as a reference point during measuring. Made from sturdy, rugged materials, this eyepiece is designed to last on the conventional job site. In addition to the on/off button, there is an automatic shut-off feature that will power down the device after about ten minutes being idle (so as to extend your batteries’ lifetime). With 1 new 9V battery you can get approximately 40 working hours.
