“The AdirPro Flag 3 laser distance meter is the answer to having a one man measuring operation. It’s easy to use, and able to take measurements up to 328’ (100m) with an incredible accuracy of 1/16” (1.5 mm).
Design
The Flag 3 is designed with the measuring professional in mind. It’s small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and lightweight to make it comfortable to carry. It’s 4.92” x 2.09” x 1.30” (125mm x 53mm x 33mm) and weighs just 5.64 oz (160g). While made from sturdy plastic, AdirPro ensures extra protection with a rubber casing around the unit. The port for the USB transfer cable is protected with the rubber casing which is supple enough for easy access. The buttons are metal dome array with a lifetime of 500,000 times. The lithium-ion battery is in enclosed with a door that is secured with screws to guarantee that it does not slip. Built into the back of the unit is a ¼” thread nut to secure the meter to a stable surface.
Accuracy
The Flag 3 handheld distance measurer has a typical accuracy of ±1/16” over a range of 0.17’-328’ (0.05m-100m).
Interface/Display
The user-friendly interface of the Flag 3 unit is intuitive and hassle free. Additionally, the user manual goes through each button and function in depth in case of confusion. Measurements can be taken and read in meters, inches, feet, or feet and inches together. The LCD display is 1 ¼” x 1 ½” with a QVGA (320*240) resolution. There is a 4 line display. The backlight is adjustable through the “Brightness” section in the menu. It stores a memory of past measurements that can be scrolled through using the simple up and down arrows.

Protection
To extend the life of your battery, be sure to remove the battery before a long period of non-use. Be sure not to use aggressive cleaning agents on the unit. Make sure to store the unit in temperatures of 14°F-140°F (-10°C-60°C) and to use it in the range of 32°F-140°F (0°C-60°C).”
